Everything on this site is copyrighted.
Mostly, it is copyrighted by us. If you upload a picture in the gallery, we will assume it is yours. If someone tells us that it is not, it will be removed immediately. We consider the burden of proof to be on the uploader to prove that an image is their work rather than the person claiming infringement.
Copyright laws are really simple in the US: if it is a creative work, it is automatically copyrighted. These laws were changed in the 1970s, so no excuses! Just because someone puts a picture on the internet, it does not imply they have made it public domain. Here's basic copyright information from the US government.
We took all of the pictures in the galleries, using a variety of digital cameras. If a picture bears a resemblence to yours, we assure you we have the uncropped and unadjusted originals and any resemblence is pure coincidence.
Please do not copy the pictures found here. Our hard work and hard-earned dollars went into each image presented on this site. We aggressively persue the illegal use our images.
If you want to use one of the pictures commercially (as if), please send email to Matt (matt -at- beals .dot. us [yes, ".us"]) and we can discuss details. In many cases, the operators of conventions do not allow guests to sell images taken at their conventions without prior agreements. We are not associated with any company or organization and have no such agreements. We occasionally share images with other websites. Please contact us for details and conditions.
If you are pictured in an image (costume contests, background, etc) and do not wish to be, please let us know and you will be made anonymous. If you are pictured without an actor in frame, we will gladly share that image with you free of charge.
Hotlinking is not permitted and will not work, so don't bother trying. Links to image pages (html) are always welcome!
What you may do with the pictures
You may download pictures to your computer. You may print them. You may drool over your favourite actor. Please don't tell me what you do with them.
